Prices
Prices
Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually need.
What affects the price
- Numbers. The roaster, staff and travel cost much the same for a smaller or larger group, so the cost per head usually falls as numbers rise.
- The menu. Pork on its own, or with lamb, chicken, vegetarian and vegan options, and which sides.
- Plates or china. Plates come as standard; china is quoted separately.
- Time on site. Slow roasting means we’re there for much of the day; longer service adds to that.
- Travel and access. Distance, London charges and how easy the cooking spot is to reach.
- The date. Summer Saturdays and December Fridays are the busiest days of the year.
Catered or DIY?
A fully catered hog roast includes the roasting, carving, serving and clearing. DIY machine hire, where you roast and carve yourself, is priced differently; ask and we’ll explain what’s included.
Getting a quote
Send us your date, venue or postcode, rough numbers, the kind of event and when you’d like to eat. We’ll reply with a clear price that spells out what’s included.
Before you compare quotes
Check what each quote includes: the menu and sides, staffing, plates or china, time on site, travel and VAT. Our guide to what a hog roast costs, with published price ranges, and our list of questions to ask before you book will help.
